Our experiences make us who we are...

I have spent the past 24 years traveling and working across the globe. The pictures above show some of the adventures that I have had. Some in the class and some outside of school. All however have impacted my outlook on life and greatly influenced for the better, the way I teach and express curriculum. When engaging the class, school or culture, I am a part of and take great pride in my experiences and approach to every new adventure and opportunity with eagerness and an open mind. My exposure to the world around me has given me the insight to realize just how the world is interconnected and how vital it is for our youth to understand the importance of the people and opportunities around them.

Due to this, I have emphasized the use of technology within my class and every program I teach. I try to develop an understanding and appreciation of the value of the tools that we have access to. From this appreciation students are able to explore the world around them and discover things they would not otherwise be likely exposed to.
